Booster Club

The Pioneer Valley Booster Club, comprised of parents and staff, was formed during the opening year of the school. The purpose of the Pioneer Valley High School Booster Club is to assist the school in promoting quality academic and athletic programs along with a broad range of campus activities and projects. Corporate and individual sponsorships are available.

ELAC

The English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC) is comprised of parents of Limited-English Proficient (LEP) students. Important school information is presented at each meeting. The committee also invites school and community speakers to provide various topics of interest. All meetings are conducted in Spanish. Any Spanish-speaking parent is invited to attend.

School Site Council / SSC

The School Site Council develops and evaluates our yearly learning goals as outlined in our School Plan. The School Site Council is made up of parents, students, and school personnel. Members of this council are elected by their peers and serve for a two-year term. Elections for new members are held each year as one half of our members rotate off. Meetings are held monthly and are open to public.

Shared Decision-Making Council / SDM
Contact: Mrs. Herrera, x5701
This council serves in a decision-making and advisory capacity on policy and procedures relating to students, teachers or classrooms that are not within the purview of Department Chairs or Board Policy. SDM is not involved in personnel selection or evaluation, school site financial and budget matters or curriculum matters unless requested by governing bodies. Parents with concerns are invited to attend Open Session of the SDM Council.

Panther Forum for Parents

This town hall style discussion will feature a topic of interest presentation the first hour with an open forum the second hour. All interested parents with questions or concerns are invited to attend.
